AN Irish influencer has said Supermacs is Ireland’s “best fast food restaurant” and has SERVED up her review of the best items on offer.
Working her way through the menu, TikTok user travelwithaine offers a 10 out of 10 to a fan favourite enjoyed across the country.
However, Aine’s explanation of the popular dish may cause some consternation among her North American followers as she says Canadian speciality poutine fails in comparison.
Supermacs, which was founded by Galway native Pat McDonagh in Ballinasloe back in 1978, has developed into something of a national institution.
Sharing the review video with her fans, Aine captioned the clip, saying: “As per usual, I get straight off the plane and head straight to Supermacs.”
The first item up for consideration was a refreshing orange beverage.

She tells her viewers: “I started off with a Club Orange – which is basically our version of Fanta. It’s really good. Eight out of 10.”
The next item up for review was something a little more substantial.
Fine continues: “I got a chicken wrap. I always hate that there’s too much flap at the top – but its so good.
“Chicken tenders, I got burger sauce instead of mayo, and some lettuce. 9.5 out of 10.”
Leaving the fast food outlet’s piece de resistance to last, Aine finishes up by tackling a portion of curry cheese chips.
She delights in telling her followers: “These are curry cheese chips.
“These are the best thing ever. It’s cheddar cheese, curry sauce, the chips here are perfect.
“I have nothing bad to say about this. I guess for any Canadians it’s like poutine – but 50 times better. 10 out of 10.”

Meanwhile, last year a Supermac’s customer was left open mouthed after being served by “Jesus Christ”.
The divine moment happened at the chain’s branch in Kiltullagh in Galway.
