Dog rescued after falling 30 feet off cliff in Michigan

A pooch plunged 30-toes from a cliff though taking a stroll with its proprietors in a Michigan park before this thirty day period — but miraculously survived when it landed on a tiny unstable ledge, according to a report.

The 4-calendar year-old cocker spaniel poodle combine, named Leo, received in the hassle on July 8 when he somehow wiggled out of his collar, prior to operating cost-free and toppling from a large spot in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, noted WDIV

The loved ones could see tiny Leo relocating with a limp on the precarious ledge on the Lake Outstanding shoreline, and held contacting to him to keep him from shifting and slipping more down whilst rescue employees arrived.

The puppy was eventually pulled up by John Miller, a volunteer from the Outstanding Higher Angle Rescue Industry experts (SHARP), the station explained.

Leo refused to go to Miller for some 25 minutes, after the rescuer was decreased down. But the dog was ultimately lured off the cliff with goldfish crackers, bread, and encouraging terms, reported WDIV.

Rescuers hauled the puppy up in a harness that they fashioned on the scene and obtained him safely and securely again on to the reduced forget platform. The pet had a limp, but was no worse for have on.

“The parks shoreline can be extremely unforgiving from the cold drinking water to the sheer cliffs and fall offs,” Main Ranger Joe Hughes informed the station.
